3 Day Gorilla Fly-in Adventure

You’ll have a morning local light flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kisoro Airstrip. Our local guide will pick you up at the airstrip and take a mild walk through communities to Lake Mutanda for a dugout canoe experience, before walking to the lodge. (Approximately 19km walk, 6-7 hours’ experience with lunch en-route.)
Check-in at your lodge, and relax contemplating the gorilla trekking adventure due the next morning.

You’ll transfer to the park headquarters for the pre-trekking briefing. Gorilla trekking starts at 8:00 am. After a briefing at the park headquarters, you will trek through the dense steep forest searching for the gorillas depending on where they were seen making nests the previous evening. The trekking can last 2-7 hours depending on how soon you find the gorillas, this is influenced by the location they stayed overnight. Trekking can be a tasking adventure, but coming to a facial close-up with these close relatives to humans is a reward worthy to earn. .

The last day of your safari starts with a transfer to Kisoro Airstrip, where you will board a return light flight to Entebbe. On the flight from Kisoro to Entebbe, you will be able to see several stunning sceneries from above. Upon arriving at Entebbe International Airport, check-in for your onward flight to the next destination.
