6 Day Amazing Short Safari with Zanzibar

Program: On your arrival at the airport, our guide will be waiting for you and after a brief introduction, you will proceed to Tarangire National Park for game viewing with a picnic lunch. After the game drive, you will drive to Karatu for dinner and your overnight stay.

The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park. It is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons.

Program: After breakfast early in the morning, we will drive up to the gates of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will then go inside the crater where you will be able to see a lot of animals living within the crater.

The crater is the world’s largest caldera which was formed after an explosion that occurred approximately 2-3 million years ago. The crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level. This area has around 30,000 animals and a great variety of birds.

Program: After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel/lodge and then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing with a picnic lunch. After the game drive, transfer to Arusha Airport where you will fly to Zanzibar. On your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel.

Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of only 330sq km (127sq miles), of which up to 200sq km (77 q miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion! At some point during your game drive, you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.

Program: For these two days, you will be relaxing on the outstanding clean beaches of Zanzibar. Enjoy Zanzibar activities like Spice tour, dolphin tour, etc. which can be added to the program at an extra cost.

Zanzibar is the main island in the Tanzanian archipelago of Zanzibar consisting of Unguja, Pemba Island and many smaller islands. There is also Stone Town, a historic trade centre with Swahili and Islamic influences.

Program: After breakfast, our driver will come to pick you up and transfer you to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight back home.
