Our Tanzania Journey starts here upon touch down at the Kilimanjaro International Airport Tanzania. Then transfered to your city hotel booked on bed and breakfast, with optional activities depending on your arrival timings, city tour available on request.
After early morning breakfast, you will meet up with your Safari Director and guide. Depart Arusha at approximately 0700 Hrs. heading for the Ngorongoro Conservation area. The Ndutu Conservation area is the best place to experience the annual wildebeest migration calving season. Once the rains start (usually late November), the huge herds make their way down from the Mara River to graze the short grass plains of the Serengeti. Arrive at the Lodge in time for lunch. At 1600 Hrs. Venture out to photograph the wildebeest herds that have migrated into the area for calving. Nighttime is at the lodge.
After early breakfast, depart for the central Serengeti (Seronera) at leisure on a game drive. Arrive at the camp in time for lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Venture out at 1600 Hrs in search of plains game and big cats of the Serengeti. Return to the Camp for dinner and overnight. Overnight will be at the camp.
Spend the whole day in Serengeti exploring the park in search of game. Your picnic lunch is in the open wild savannas. Besides its annual wildebeest migration, the park is famed for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the big five-named for the five most prized trophies taken by game hunters. Natural habitats include savannah grasslands dotted with acacia trees, magnificent rock outcroppings called kopjes, swamps, dense bush as well as streams and rivers. They provide different opportunities for tracking different animal’s species. Return to the lodge in the late evening after a whole day in the park. Dinner and overnight is at the camp.
Depart the Serengeti after breakfast heading for the Ngorongoro Conservation area. Arrive at our lodge in time for lunch and an afternoon rest. The rest of the day is spent at leisure to relax and review images from your previous safari. Dinner and Overnight will be at the lodge.
Early breakfast signals your departure for the Ngorongoro crater with scenic sightings enroute. Descend the steep crater for your early morning game drive at the floor of this breathtaking crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is an “eighth wonder of the natural world,” with over 20,000 animals thriving in its near perfect conditions. It is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area which covers more than 8,300 square kilometers. Your picnic lunch is at the crater before continuing with your afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.
Start the day with your scheduled departure for the Tarangire National park. Drive through the baobab vegetation on the breathtaking water bodies introducing herds of elephant, gnus, zebra, wildebeest and the colorful bird life. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and an afternoon rest. The late afternoon is on a game viewing safari to usher in the sunset. Overnight is at the lodge.
Early morning is on a game drive before returning to your lodge for breakfast. Depart for Arusha with scenic sighting enroute arriving in time for lunch. Transfer to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return flight.
