Tour Details

Combining these two regions will give you a really prolific wildlife experience. Start your journey with 3 nights at Inyati Game Lodge in the Sabi Sands, followed by 2 nights at the new Rock Fig Lodge. Activities will include game drives in open vehicles as well as walking safaris.

Itinerary

Day 1Flight Direct into Sabi Sands

Today, you will start your journey at the Federal Air Lounge at Johannesburg Airport. Federal Air will fly you direct into the Sabi Sands. Upon arrival, you will be collected by Inyati Game Lodge for your short transfer to the lodge where you will spend the next three nights.

Day 2 - 3Inyati Private Reserve

You’ll have two full days to enjoy the activities available at Inyati Game Lodge. Enjoy early morning and late afternoon/evening game drives in open game vehicles driven by experienced rangers and insightful trackers. Bush walks are also available as well as fishing. Fishing is an optional activity at an extra cost.

Day 4From Sabi Sands to Timbavati Nature Reserve

This morning, after your game drive and breakfast, you will be collected for your road transfer to your next safari destination— The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. Upon arrival you can settle in and then enjoy your first evening game drive in this game-rich area.

Day 5Timbavati Wildlife

Rock Fig Lodge offers game viewing with experienced guides and trackers in open vehicles. They allow a maximum of 4 guests per vehicle offering that extra intimate and personal experience. Another way to experience the Timbavati is on foot, the lodge offers guided walking safaris.

Day 5Final Safari

This is your last opportunity to enjoy a morning game drive before enjoying breakfast at the lodge. You will then check out of the lodge and be transferred to Hoedspruit Airport for your return flight to Johannesburg.
