Itinerary

Day 1Nairobi -Maasai Mara

Arrival
You’ll be collected from the airport.
Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.

Met by our representative Seven By far representative, at the international airport briefed, and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley to the world famous game reserve, the Masai Mara arriving at Mara sekenani camp in time for lunch. At 1600hrs enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sekenani camp.

Day 2Maasai Mara

Full day in the reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives at 0630hrs and 1600hrs respectively. The Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti and its rolling plains are home to hundreds of plains game together with predators that feed on them. All meals and overnight at Mara Sekenani Camp.

Day 3Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru, to arrive at the Lake Nakuru Lodge in time for Lunch, relax and have an afternoon siesta and later at 1600hrs enjoy and after noon game drive that takes to the lake right in bird-life and animals, Dinner & overnight at the Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 4Lake Nakuru –Samburu

Depart early in the morning, after breakfast, with stop over the Equator Point, drive north through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and coffee plantation to the cool Kenyan highlands to arrive at the Samburu sopaLodge in time for lunch. At 1600hrs, enjoy an afternoon game drive within the park to introduce you to the game in the area. Dinner and overnight at the Samburu Sopa.

Day 5Samburu

Full day spent in Samburu with early morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve, which covers 40 square miles (104 square kilometers). This is the homeland of the nomadic Samburu people, whose culture attaches great value to tending their livestock of cattle, sheep, goats and camels as their main economic activity. Samburu is rich in species not seen in southern Kenya’s more famous parks. You’ll also have a good chance at spotting lions, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. The semiarid landscape is dramatic, with the rugged outcrop known as Mt. Ololokwe a prominent feature. The Ewaso Ngiro River, which forms the southern boundary of the reserve, attracts many birds and is a popular watering hole for elephants. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation, and then take an evening drive for more game viewing. Meals and overnight at your Lodge.

Day 6Samburu -Aberdare

Depart after breakfast and proceed south to the Aberdare Country Club. The Club is the base hotel for the tree hotel Ark. Lunch at Aberdare Country Club and at 1430hrs, transfer to the Ark, which is located in the Aberdare National Park, with small overnight bags as most of the luggage is left at the club. The Ark has various decks and balconies for easy viewing and photography of wild game.
Dinner and overnight of game viewing at the lodge.

Day 7Aberdare -Nairobi

Breakfast and return to Nairobi. Lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant, justifiably referred to as Africa’s Greatest Eating Experience, having twice been voted amongst the world’s 50 best restaurants by UK based Restaurant magazine. Drop off at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home. Great Holiday Ends.
