5 Days, 4 Nights Private Safari Adventure to Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Naivasha

You will be picked up at 7:00 am from your hotel or directly from the airport (depending on your flight schedule). On the way, you’ll stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for about 10–15 minutes to admire the breathtaking landscape. Lunch will be served upon arrival at your camp in the Maasai Mara.

In the afternoon, after check-in, you’ll head out for an exciting sunset game drive in the Mara Reserve (from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm).

Your tented accommodation includes a bed, linen, mosquito net, private toilet, and shower. Electricity is available daily from 6:00–10:00 pm and again in the morning from 6:00–8:00 am.

The Maasai Mara Reserve is Kenya’s most famous safari destination, located within the Great Rift Valley. Known as the crown jewel of wildlife viewing, it offers open grasslands, dramatic escarpments, and an exceptional chance to see the Big Five along with other wildlife.

After enjoying breakfast at the camp around 7:00 am, you will set out for a full-day game drive across the vast plains of the Masai Mara in search of the iconic Big Five. Around midday, you’ll take a break for a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, prepared and provided for you.

Your adventure will also take you to the famous Mara River, a remarkable site where crocodiles and hippos can often be seen basking along its banks. This river is also the stage for the world-renowned Great Migration—an awe-inspiring natural spectacle where over 1.5 million wildebeest, accompanied by zebras and gazelles, cross from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in search of greener pastures. Taking place between July and November, this extraordinary migration has earned global recognition as the “Seventh Wonder of the World.”

Trailing closely behind the herds are the predators of the savannah, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and vultures—offering thrilling opportunities to witness raw wildlife interactions.

In the evening, return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay at Jambo Mara Camp or a similar lodge.

After an early breakfast, you will depart Masai Mara and make a short stop at a Maasai Village for a cultural experience. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the traditions of the Maasai community and engage with the locals before continuing your journey.

You will then proceed with your drive to Lake Nakuru, arriving at your hotel in good time. The afternoon will be at leisure—you can relax by the pool, enjoy Wi-Fi access, or take a peaceful stroll around the hotel grounds.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at Sarova Woodlands Hotel

You will have an early breakfast and depart by 7am to straight to the park. Its a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos. The game drive lasts 3 hours, after which you will depart for Naivasha arriving at your hotel in time for your lunch . After lunch, you will later go for an hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing. Later is dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Kongoni Lodge

After a leisurely breakfast, you will depart for Hell’s Gate National Park, arriving at the park gate at around 9:00 am. Begin your adventure with a two-hour cycling tour through the park, enjoying its dramatic landscapes and unique wildlife.

At around 11:00 am, proceed to explore the park’s gorges—narrow, winding formations where you can walk beneath towering cliffs. Some areas also feature fascinating caves that you can pass through. This exploration will take approximately one hour.

By 1:00 pm, you will return the bikes at the gate and continue to Marina Side Restaurant for lunch. Afterward, you will drive back to Nairobi, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport.
