3 Days/2 Nights Maasai Mara Express

An exclusive road package that takes you to the fabulous Maasai Mara scene of the Migration of the Wildebeest, the greatest spectacle of the animal kingdom. This migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti in search of water and pasture draws thousands of tourists to see this unforgettable scene. Following in the wake of these antelopes are the predators of the savanna, including lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi/Maasai Mara

After breakfast, drive via the Great Rift Valley to arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch. Along the way we will have a distant view of Mt. Longonot, Lake Naivasha, and the Great Rift Valley escarpment. After lunch, go for an afternoon game drive till dusk. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 2: Maasai Mara Full Day

Early morning game drive in the Mara. Return to the lodge for breakfast. You spend the rest of the morning at leisure. After lunch at the lodge, you proceed at 1500 hrs. for an afternoon game drive till dusk. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 3: Maasai Mara/Nairobi

Early morning game drive, or take the opportunity to fly over the Mara in a hot air balloon provided at extra cost. The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild! If you can spare the money, viewing abundant game from aloft a balloon is an unforgettable experience. After breakfast, return to Nairobi, arriving in the early afternoon.

3 Days From Nairobi or Mombasa

Amboseli Serena Lodge

Day 1: Nairobi or Mombasa—Amboseli

In the morning, you will drive to Amboseli National Park for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, dinner, and overnight at a lodge or luxury tent within the park.

Day 2: Amboseli—Tsavo West

In the morning, you will drive to Tsavo West. After lunch, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive, dinner, and overnight at a lodge or luxury tent within the park.

Day 3: Tsavo West—Nairobi or Mombasa

Your early morning game drive will be followed by breakfast. You will return to Nairobi or Mombasa, arriving in the early afternoon.
