11-Day Best of Kenya Safari
Day 1
Nairobi
You will be met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by a Seven By Far Travel representative. You will then be briefed on your upcoming safari and transferred to the Sarova Stanley Hotel for your overnight stay. If you arrive early enough, we can take you on a complimentary city tour.

Day 2
Nairobi–Amboseli
After breakfast, you will make your way south to Amboseli National Park, which is famous for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and then go on an afternoon game drive at 16:00. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 3
Amboseli National Park
Leave on a full-day game drive (0630 to 1600 hrs) within Amboseli National Park. Amboseli sits at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, and is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. It lies 150 miles southeast of Nairobi and is very close to the Tanzanian border. The snow-capped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro rises above the clouds and dominates every aspect of this landscape. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day
Amboseli-Aberdare National Park
Leave Amboseli after breakfast and make your way north; proceed south to the Aberdare Country Club. The Club is the base hotel for the tree hotel Ark. Lunch at Aberdare Country Club, and at 1430 hrs., transfer to the Ark, which is located in the Aberdare National Park, with small overnight bags, as most of the luggage is left at the club. The Ark has various decks and balconies for easy viewing and photography of wild game.
Dinner and overnight game viewing at the lodge.

Day 5
Aberdare – Samburu Game Reserve
Leave after breakfast and drive north through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and coffee plantations to the cool Kenyan highlands, where the lodge is located. You will eat lunch and then go on an afternoon game drive at 16:00. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 6
Samburu National Reserve
Spend the full day (06:30 to 16:00) in the reserve on a game drive. Samburu is famous for its rare mammals that only survive north of the equator. These include the gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Beira oryx, and Grevy’s zebra. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 7
Samburu – Lake Nakuru
Depart after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. Enjoy some free time relaxing at the lodge, and then go on a game drive at 16:00. You will visit the shores of the lake, where the flamingos that live here create an incredible pink hue on the lake’s surface. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 8
Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, you will make your way to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch at the resort. At 16:00 you can go on an optional boat ride to visit Crescent Island. Dinner and your overnight at the lodge.

Day 9
Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara
Leave Lake Naivasha after breakfast and then drive across the Great Rift Valley floor to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving at the camp in time for lunch. At 16:00, you will go on an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 10
Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend the full day (06:30 to 16:00) on a game drive with the reserve. The Masai Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti. Its rolling plains are home to hundreds of plains game and the predators that feed on them. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 11
Masai Mara – Nairobi
After an early morning game drive, you will depart for Nairobi, arriving around midday in time for lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant. Carnivore has been (quite justifiably) referred to as Africa’s greatest dining experience, having twice been voted among the world’s 50 best restaurants by a UK-based restaurant magazine. You will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.
