5-Day Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru and Masai Mara

You'll be collected from the airport.
Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.

Your safari starts with a pick-up at 7:30 am from your Nairobi hotel or airport and a drive to Amboseli National Park. You'll arrive in Amboseli shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp. Have a hot lunch and then have some time to rest. At 4:00 pm, you will depart for an afternoon game drive.

The highlight is that Amboseli has the greatest concentration of elephants in the world. It is home to over 1,600 elephants from 56 different families. Each elephant has a name and a photo attached to it.

After the game drive, we will return to the lodge/camp, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and have an overnight stay.

You will have breakfast and then head for Naivasha. You will get to stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for a scenic photo session, and later head to Lake Naivasha. You'll arrive in the afternoon in time for lunch.

After lunch, you will head out for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, followed by a walking safari in the animal sanctuary. During the safari, you will have a one-on-one encounter with animals like giraffes and zebras, and you can almost touch them.

Later, you will head to Lake Nakuru for resting and refreshing and an overnight stay at your lodge.

You will have breakfast, then head out for an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Highlights here are that this park is home to hundreds of black and white rhinos and other wildlife. After the game drive, we head back to the hotel/lodge. Later, you will drive to the Masai Mara.

Between July and October, things get busy in the Great Rift Valley. Millions of zebra and wildebeest make the perilous crossing across the Masai Mara in search of new grazing territory. In their wake comes a veritable horde of predators. You'll arrive on time for lunch and then have time to relax after the drive.

At 5 pm, you will be picked up from your hotel by Maasai Morans (warriors) who will guide you through a walking safari in the dense Masai Mara. Later, you will head for a cultural tour to some of the old tribes that still exist.

Today’s program is flexible you can coordinate with your guide to shape the day’s plan. After a leisurely breakfast, set out at 6:30 am for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the park. Highlights may include a visit to the Mara River, especially during the migration season, and excellent opportunities to spot wildlife throughout the day. You’ll return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

A safari in the Masai Mara is an essential part of any Kenyan holiday, offering sweeping landscapes, abundant wildlife including the Big Five, and a rich cultural experience. It truly stands among Africa’s most remarkable safari destinations.

Depending on your program, you will organize your departure from Masai Mara with your guide. You will then be transferred to your Nairobi location or the airport for your homebound flight.
